Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has released its new line of products that include thin-film, single-value chip and wire capacitors, a high-voltage optocoupler, and SMD current-sensing transformers.

The Electro-Films NC series of thin-film, single-value chip and wire capacitors improves hybrid circuit design with its 0.020 square-inch dimension and capacitance values up of to 1,000pF. The devices are available with a combination silicon dioxide/silicon nitride dielectric (MNOS) or with a silicon dioxide dielectric (MOS). Designed for assembly in hybrid circuits using conventional wire-bonding techniques, the capacitors provide a layout flexibility in RFI and EMI filters, bypass capacitors, CMOS digital filters, and low-pass filters in smart cards, passive electronic ID tags, and other hybrid products.

The high-voltage optocoupler meets the European Union's ATEX standard for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres, and is designed to enable galvanically separated circuits in environments including coal mines, chemistry labs, refineries and mills. The CNY65Exi consists of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared-emitting diode in a four-lead, plastic package. The optocoupler features a current transfer ratio range of 50 percent to 300 percent, and a coupling capacity of 0.3pF.

The Dale LPE-3325-CST series of surface-mount, current-sensing transformers features five standard turns ratios from 30 to 125 in a lead-free construction. Designed to perform at frequencies of 100kHz and greater, the product is intended for switching power supplies, ac current detection, and output supplies for control circuitry in household appliances and medical and office equipment.
