Associated Opto detector features quick response

Associated Opto-electronics (Chongqing) Corp. has released position sensitive detectors that include a one-dimensional (ceramic base and resin window) and two-dimensional (metallic base and resin window) types.

As the target changes its position, linear change in output current takes place in the device so that it can detect the exact position of the target. With high output linearity, the detector also features high resolution, quick response, low noise, and large active area with no blind spot.

Suitable for positioning, tracker, control and guide, detection for vibration, displacement and movement track, automatic focusing and automaton vision, the product features a spectral range between 0.35?m and 1.1?m. Dark current is <100nA or <200nA.

With a <25pF capacitance, the product has a sensitivity of 0.55?A/?W or 0.5?A/?W, position resolution of <1?m or <5?m, and operating temperature range between -20°C to 60°C or -40°C to 60°C.
