Alps Electric connectors feature stand-off design

The SCDA2A02 series of SD memory card connectors from Alps Electric Co. Ltd features a reverse-mounting stand-off design that allows components to be mounted underneath the connector. To avoid loss when ejected, a half-lock structure is adopted.

Suitable for use in cellphones, PDAs, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, and PCs, the connector features a voltage proof of 500Vac for 1min, insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms, and contact resistance of 100 milliohms. Rated for operation between the -25°C to 60°C temperature range, mating and unmating cycle is 10,000 cycles.

The media detection switch adopts a reliable contact structure with sliding ON/OFF function.
