Mitsubishi Electric modules obtain safety nods

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. announced that its high power type lead-free solder photovoltaic (PV) modules have acquired international safety certifications. Mitsubishi Electric's newly developed modules have met the International standards (IEC) and have received UL and TUV safety certifications.

At its PV plant in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, Mitsubishi Electric has started production of photovoltaic cells and modules in 1998, and has made a point to popularize PV systems in the Japanese market.
