Alps Electric switches suit car map lamps

Alps Electric Co. Ltd has released its SPED2 series of switches that is designed to for use in car map lamps. With smooth linear motion that was achieved by adopting a ratchet cam structure, the product has a rating of 14.5Vdc, 1A, contact resistance of 100 ohms, and operating force of 4.17±0.74N.

Circuit arrangement is 2-pole-1position, device travel distance is 4.5mm, and operating life is 30,000 cycles.
