Jazz enters Hua Hong NEC joint venture

Hua Hong Group and Jazz Semiconductor have announced an agreement, which is expected to establish an ownership position for Jazz Semiconductor in the on-going Hua Hong NEC (HHNEC) joint venture. The joint venture with HHNEC is expected to significantly increase current Jazz capacity for digital, analog and RF CMOS processes as well as SiGe Bi-CMOS.

Jazz Semiconductor holds an equity stake and board seat in Shanghai-based HHNEC, which was established in 1997.
