Pericom Semiconductor Corp. has expanded its PCI-to-PCI Bridge portfolio with six enhanced devices that support multiple end markets including networking, computer, industrial, and video surveillance.

Supporting both 33MHz and 66MHz frequencies, the PI7C8150A/8150B and PI7C8152A/8152B products are performance enhanced 32-bit, 2-port PCI-to-PCI Bridge devices. The B devices offer asynchronous mode support, which allows customers to run 9 secondary bus masters at a frequency that is not derived from the primary bus.

Rated for operation between the extended commercial temperature range, the Intel-compatible product operates a 5V and 3.3V signaling. Priced at $10.20 in 1,000-unit quantities, the devices are housed in performance packaging including both Ball Grid Array and Quad Flat Packaging.
