LTX Corp. announced that the Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Group (ASE Group), a provider of semiconductor backend manufacturing services, has placed a volume order for its Fusion CX test systems. This order follows the delivery of multiple units to ASE in prior quarters, and is expected to lead to a step-function increase in their installed base.

ASE is deploying Fusion systems around the world, at development and production facilities in the U.S., South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. According to ASE, with its ability to test a range of sophisticated devices, Fusion is appealing to ASE customers of all sizes, from large integrated device manufacturers to smaller fabless companies, ensuring high utilization across multiple geographies.
