Micron image sensor features TrueSNAP technology

Micron Technology Inc. has announced the availability of its MT9V403 high-speed VGA image sensor, with True Shutter Node Active Pixel (TrueSNAP) technology. Capable of up to 200fps at full resolution, the sensor features a digital interface that provides flexibility to control critical performance parameters such as exposure time, frame rate and windowing functionality. The product includes on-chip 10-bit ADC outputting monochrome or color digital video in 659H-by-494V-pixel format at 0fps to 200fps and a responsivity of 2,000 bits per lux second.

The TrueSNAP technology features a freeze-frame electronic shutter that stops even the fastest motion with crystal clear accuracy. It was created for use in high-speed applications that allow for all pixels to be simultaneously exposed.
