JMC Products has launched a new line of low-cost Tiger CPU coolers that are compatible with the Intel Pentium 4 processor, and consist of extruded aluminum fins that expose a large surface area to incoming airflows to generate cooling power.

The Tiger I cooler is an all-aluminum extruded heatsink that measures 92-by-69-by-45mm, and weighs 357g. The thermal resistance with thermal interface material applied is measured to be 0.41C/W. The Tiger II cooler is a low-profile aluminum extruded heatsink with an aluminum copper insert that measures 92-by-78.4-by-43mm, and weighs 362g. The thermal resistance with thermal interface material applied is measured to be 0.43C/W.

Both Tiger coolers are mounted with a 70-by-15mm dc fan running at 4,300rpm, which are available in a sleeve bearing, sleeve/ball bearing or a dual ball bearing.

Prices range from below $4 to $7.50, depending on cooler model, fan features, thermal interface material, and quantities ordered.
