Matsushita switch features quiet stroke operation

Matsushita Electronic Components Co. Ltd has released the EV00J operational switch that comes with a large-sized stainless steel diaphragm and a silicon rubber-based push plate. Featuring a stroke of 0.5mm to 0.7mm and a quiet operation, the switch eliminates the metallic click sound. The product's rubber push plate is heat resistant up to 85°C.

Designed for use in automobile steering switches and car audios, the device measures 8(?)-by-8-by-5mm with a contact resistance of 100 milliohms and silver plating. Lifespan is 100,000 cycles.
