With a wide operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the product can be used on 3V or 5V power supply with a current consumption of 560?A. Compatible frequencies are 36-, 36.7-, 38-, and 40kHz.

Available in a mold type and a metal case type, the device is offered in a 3-pin package with lens for 91 cents. Suitable applications include audio equipment, DVD equipment, and TV sets.
