IR voltage regulators deliver up to 0.6V dropout voltage

International Rectifier (IR) has introduced a series of high current, ultra-low dropout (ULDO) linear voltage regulators in high density, hermetic packages for military and aerospace applications.

Designed to suit low-voltage point-of-load digital bus applications requiring fast transient response and output voltages from 20V to 1.8V, the regulators feature a typical dropout voltage of 0.43V to 0.6V, output current range of 3A to 10A, dropout voltage range of 0.4V to 0.60V at full rated current, and input voltage range of 2.7V to 20V.

With low power consumption, low ripple and low noise and 1 percent regulation tolerance, the OM7580SC, OM7580SM, OM7581SC, OM7581SM, OM7764ASC and OM7764ASM regulators are priced at $94.70, $131.13, $173.39, $169.76, $76.97 and $112.56, respectively.
