FastRamp changes name to STATS FastRamp Test Services

ST Assembly Test Services Ltd (STATS), an independent semiconductor test and advanced packaging service provider, announced that FastRamp Test Services Inc. has changed its name to STATS FastRamp Test Services effective last January 1, 2004.

Launched in October 2001 as a wholly owned subsidiary of STATS, FastRamp is a microcosm of STATS in the Silicon Valley, utilizing the same tester configurations, test hardware and manufacturing processes. By supporting its customers early in the product development phase, FastRamp helps launch new products on schedule, meeting volume ramps and achieving production cost targets.
