Konka CRT TVs to feature Trident video processor

| Consumer electronics manufacturer Shenzhen Konka Group has selected Trident Technologies Inc.'s DPTV3D video processor family to power its full series of multi-scan, dual-standard, PAL/NTSC pure-flat digital CRT TV receivers in China. The Konka TV models powered by DPTV3D family video processors are P3218T, P3618T, P2902T, P2908T, P2906T, P3409T, P3460T, P29FT188 and P34FT189.
"We selected DPTV3D because DPTV3D is the only 3D-comb decoder that supports both the PAL & NTSC TV video standard," said Kuang Yu Bin, General Manager of the Multimedia Product Dept, Konka Group Co. Ltd. "In addition, DPTV3D's multi-scan capability allows us to use one television chassis design to introduce multiple models to meet the dynamic Chinese TV market requirement. We have adopted the DPTV3D family across our pure-flat TV line ranging from the standard 27-inch to the premium 36-inch models." |
