Oxford Semiconductor opens Taiwan office

Oxford Semiconductor has opened an office in Taipei, Taiwan. The new office is anticipated to provide local commercial and technical support to the company's expanding Greater China market.

"This exciting move acknowledges the pivotal role Taiwan is playing in the development of our key consumer electronics markets," said William Wong. "As well as helping to improve local customer service, the Taiwan office will provide us with the market intelligence we need to proactively respond to rapidly changing customer demands."

Oxford Semiconductor designs and manufactures communication bridge and connectivity ICs for interconnecting a broad range of consumer electronic products, from disk drives and computer peripherals to digital cameras and MP3 players.
