Kingston memory modules operate at 2.7V

Kingston Technology Co. Inc. has launched its HyperX DDR 533MHz (PC4300) memory modules that are available in 256MB and 512MB capacities and 512MB and 1GB kits.

Supporting data rates of up to 533MHz, the products are targeted toward the avid gamer and PC enthusiast markets. The 184-pin HyperX PC4300 modules are assembled with a heat spreader, are tested at its highest-rated speeds, and operate at 2.7V.

The KHX4300/256 with 256MB capacity is priced at $112, the KHX4300/512 with 512MB capacity is available for $224, the KHX4300K2/512 (512MB Kit) has two 256MB modules and is offered at $220, and the KHX4300K2/1G (1GB Kit) with two 512MB modules is available for $440.

The HyperX PC4300 has been tested using the Asus P4C800-E motherboard.
