Foxconn penetrates U.S. motherboard market

Hon Hai Precision Ind. Co. Ltd (registered trade name Foxconn) has entered into the U.S. channel motherboard market. Foxconn's U.S. channel operations will be responsible for the in-country sales, marketing, and support services.

Foxconn's products include the Intel 865 and 875 series core logic-based motherboards in both microATX and ATX form factor. These motherboards support the latest Intel Pentium 4 processors and incorporate the latest memory, graphics interface, communications and peripheral interface technologies. They will also support Intel's Prescott (code name) processor as it becomes available in the first half of this year.
