The WirelessUSB LR device employs Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) technology to avoid signal interference from other technologies in the 2.4GHz band like 802.11b, Bluetooth and wireless emissions from both cordless phones and microwave ovens. It features a -95dBm receive sensitivity, data transmission rate of up to 62.5Kbps, and an average latency of below 10ms.
With a highly integrated radio transceiver plus digital baseband, the product enables designers to decrease development time, component count and system cost. It has a low standby power consumption, standby current of approximately 0.25?A and up to 0dBm output power.
Offered in three configurations, the 48-pin QFN-packaged device is priced at $2.93, while the 28-pin SOIC-packaged device is available for $3.70. An industrial-temperature-tested version is available for $3.93. |
