Coretec Inc. has acquired the senior debt and entered into a conditional agreement to purchase all of the equity of Proto Circuit Inc., a manufacturer of rigid-flex and rigid PCBs for the defense and aerospace sector. Proto Circuit's 40,000 square-feet facility is located outside of Cleveland, Ohio.

"Proto Circuit has a proven track record in working with leading defense and aerospace contractors, particularly those with rigid-flex and other demanding PCB requirements including exotic materials, metal cores and heatsinks. The company serves some of the most demanding end markets, namely the medical, military, aerospace, nuclear and transportation sectors. We believe that this acquisition will have significant synergies with our Denver facility, which is similarly focused on high reliability products," said Paul Langston, president and CEO of Coretec.
