Voltage reference IC has 0.2 percent initial accuracy

Maxim Integrated Products has introduced the MAX6037, a high-precision adjustable-output voltage reference chip in a 5-pin SOT23 package.

The company discloses that it is the industry's lowest drift, adjustable reference with 25ppm/C drift over -40C to 85C, and 0.2 percent initial accuracy. A hardware shutdown reduces supply current to <1?A for power-sensitive systems.

Offering an adjustable range of 1.25V to 4.096V by setting two external-feedback resistors, the MAX6037 also features fixed output voltages of 1.25-, 2.048-, 2.5-, 3-, 3.3-, and 4.096V with shutdown functionality. Additional features include 5mA source/sink current capability, 200mV dropout, and guaranteed operation from -40C to 125C.

Prices start at 85 cents for 1,000-unit quantities.
