Tra-Con epoxy adhesive with low viscosity

The TRA-DUCT 921M01 from Tra-Con Inc. is a two component, silver filled electrically conductive epoxy adhesive designed for applications which require electrical conductivity and a long pot life at a relatively low heat cure.

Ideal for application by automatic dispenser, screen-printing or hand probe, the material is a soft, smooth paste that can be packaged in the company's custom bipax as well as pre-mixed and frozen syringes.

With low viscosity, the adhesive features volume resistivities of 0.00025 ohm-cm at 25°C (30 min at 120°C), 0.00017 ohm-cm at 25°C (15 min at 150°C), and 0.00051 ohm-cm at 25°C (2h at 80°C). It has a 1,500psi lap shear (alum to alum), 23,000cps viscosity (cp #52, 10rpm), and Thixotropic index of 4.

Cure schedules are 24h at 65°C, 5 to 7h at 80°C, 30min at 120°C, and 15min at 150°C.
