AVX/Kyocera has expanded its product offering with the release of low-inductance chip capacitors that feature an inductance of 325pH to 450pH, capacitance between 0.1?F and 3.3?F, and capacitance tolerances of 10 percent (K) and 20 percent (M).

Available in 1608 (0603), 2012 (0805) and 3216 (1206) case sizes, the capacitors are rated at 6.3-, 10-, 16- or 25Vdc, and have a dissipation factor of 6.5 percent (6.3Vdc), 5 percent (10Vdc), 3.5 percent (16Vdc) and 3 percent (25Vdc).

The devices have an insulation resistance of 100 gigaohms, and operate within the -55C to 125C (X7R) or -55C to 85C (X5R) temperature range.
