Power-One's QNT36ZEDB is a triple-output quarter-brick that delivers 80W (for 200lfm air flow) from a nominal 36Vdc to 75Vdc input. Each output provides up to 12A at 0.95V to 5V (adjustable). In selected applications this product can provide a single-component alternative to a distributed-power design.

These bricks feature sequencing of outputs at startup, individual output enable, remote on/off, and operation to 110C. Worst-case line and load regulation is 15mV and 30mV, respectively, at 1.8V; 20mV and 40mV at 2.5V; and 20mV and 50mV at 3.3V. Output voltage ripple is 30mVpp nominal, 90mVpp maximum. Efficiency is 87 percent, and input-to-output isolation is 1.5kVdc. They are protected against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and overtemperature.

The QNT36ZEDB is available in through-hole and, optionally, SMT-mountable packages. They are priced at $65 each in 1k pieces. Evaluation units are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks.
