Keywords:7302bm4? angular accelerometer? endevco?

Endevco has disclosed that its 7302BM4 angular accelerometer is designed to provide accurate measurements of rotational or torsional accelerations.

The sensing system consists of a temperature compensated piezoresistive accelerometer, designed with a Wheatstone bridge element that provides high rejection of cross-axis angular and linear accelerations.

The device is fluid-damped to optimize frequency and phase response within a -17C to 120C temperature range. It offers a stable frequency response from 0Hz to 1,600Hz, and provides a linear output up to 50,000rad/sec? and nominal sensitivity of 5mV/krad/sec? with 10Vdc excitation voltage.

Typical applications for the 7302BM4 accelerometer include the measurement of irregularities in shaft and drive train rotation for machine and turbine monitoring, as well as dynamic automotive applications such as crash testing and suspension/chassis vibration monitoring.
