Anritsu device supports various comm standards

Japan-based test and measurement firm Anritsu has rolled out its latest offerings at the recently concluded Expo Comm Wireless 2004 held in Seoul, South Korea.

The company's lineup comprises of the single-box MT8820A EV-DO tester, which supports W-CDMA, GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, CDMA2000 1x and CDMA2000; the MG3681A digital modulation signal generator; and the T8852A Bluetooth test set.

Highlighting their booth, Anritsu displayed its "ultimate" single-unit wireless transmission analysis solution - the MT8860A. "This product allows engineers to cost-effectively guarantee the quality of their WLAN designs," said product marketing manager Robinson Angus.

The MT8860A has a Windows-based design and a "LANLook" user interface, which allows task to be performed simultaneously via a burst profile. LANLook is a Visual basic program with an open source code that allows engineers to input changes accordingly.
