Bustronic Corp. has developed a new line of 32-bit CompactPCI (cPCI) backplanes that offer hundreds of I/O pins. The line currently includes 6U 8-slot, 3U 8-slot, and 3U 3-slot versions. Product line expansions are planned for the new 32-bit cPCI series.

All Bustronic CompactPCI backplanes are compliant to the latest PICMG specifications. By utilizing a controlled-impedance stripline design, the company says its backplanes have virtually zero crosstalk. The company also offers a wide range of 64-bit cPCI backplanes and other CompactPCI accessories.

Pricing for the 32-bit CompactPCI line starts at less than $300. Delivery is two to four weeks.
