Maxwell Technologies Inc.'s non-volatile memory components manufactured by its Microelectronics unit have qualified for the U.S. Defense Supply Center, Class "V" certification in the center's Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML).
The stringent, space-specific, QML-V certification builds on the company's recently granted Class "Q" certification, which is based on military specifications. QML listings confirm that the design, manufacturing and other operational processes employed to produce the subject components meet rigorous standards required of suppliers of microcircuits for space and military applications. The certifications were granted on the basis of extensive audits of Maxwell's microelectronics manufacturing facility and processes conducted by teams of aerospace engineers from industry and government agencies. |
