It is common knowledge that desktop PCs, servers, notebooks, compact and sub-compact computers, and networking/communications platforms are increasingly gaining popularity. As a response, White Electronic Designs Corp. (WEDC) has developed a complete family of Double Data Rate (DDR) SDRAM modules that target the said applications.

The new DDR SDRAM module family offers a wide variety of densities and heights, as well as custom modules to meet customer requirements. The JEDEC standard devices are tested for extended environments, electrical de-rating, full thermal, electrical and mechanical simulations and analysis.

The modules feature clock speeds of 100MHz, 133MHz and 166MHz, and offer bi-directional data strobes (DQS), programmable read latency 2, 2.5 (clock) and auto and self refresh modes. The 184 pin DIMM modules are available in height options of D3: 28.58mm, JD3: 30.02mm and AJD3: 28.70mm. The 200 pin SO-DIMM modules are available in height options of D4: 35.56mm, AD4: 35.05mm and BD4: 31.75mm.
