IR to conduct motion control seminar in China

International Rectifier (IR) has disclosed the first in a series of motion control educational seminars for engineering students throughout China. The first seminar is slated on August 31, 2004 at the Shenzhen Tech-innovation International (STI), sponsored by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT).
IR's motion control seminar will focus on the latest technology for high performance digital servo controller design and high efficiency, energy-saving permanent magnet motor drives, and will include hands-on laboratory sessions.
David Tam, IR VP, Consumer and Industrial Sector Business, said, "Advancing energy-efficient motor drive technology is a major thrust for IR. We are pleased to work with China's future power electronics engineers in the development of the most cutting-edge, energy-saving technologies." |
