The new NJU8719 IC from New Japan Radio Co. Ltd (NJR) is a monaural BTL output switching driver designed for class D amplifiers. Utilizing a C-MOS technology, the device converts 1bit digital signal input (such as PWM or PDM signal) to analog signal output with simple external LC low-pass filter.

Realizing high power-efficiency by class D operation, the switching driver is suitable for portable applications with speakers. It features a monaural BTL output of 500mW (at 3.3V, 8 ohms) and 1W (at 5V, 8 ohms), and operating voltage between 2.4V and 5.25V.

The driver is available in a SSOP10 package that measures 3.5-by-6.4-by-1.25mm.
