Xilinx Inc. has announced a series of in-depth technical workshops focused on real-world design examples and new product introductions for next-generation programmable systems design. The Programmable World 2004 is a one-day event, which will run from Oct. 19 to Dec. 1 in 19 cities throughout the world.

The workshop will showcase the company's Virtex-4 Platform solution with full-day technical sessions dedicated to each digital domain, including DSP, embedded processing, connectivity, and logic.

"Programmable World 2004 will offer an intense day of learning and networking around the most exciting new programmable technology in the world - the Virtex-4 Platform FPGA family," said Jim Cairns, director of corporate solutions marketing at Xilinx. "Engineers and system architects interested in the latest programmable systems solutions optimized for breakthrough performance and unmatched capability at the lowest cost should not miss this 'must-attend' event," Cairns added.
