The new sound processor with subwoofer output from New Japan Radio Co. Ltd (NJR) includes all of the functions needed to process audio signal for TV, such as tone control, balance, volume, mute and AGC functions.

With an operating voltage between 7.5V and 13V, the NJW1176 processor also includes the LPF for subwoofer output and bass boost function. According to the company, the eala (NJRC surround) reproduces natural surround sound and clear vocal orientation.

The new processor utilizes the Bi-CMOS technology, and is available in SDIP30, SDMP30 and SSOP32 packaging options. In addition, all of internal status and variables are controlled by I2C BUS interface.
