Taiwan-based display maker Prime View Int. Ltd (PVI) will be reducing its car-use panels output by 15 percent but will ramp up capacity for its LCD modules in its facility in

mainland China.

Due to declining prices of car-use panels and intense competition in the market, output will go down by 15 to 16 percent this year. However, the company states that its LCD modules plant in Yangzhou will ramp up LCD module capacity from 450,000 substrates to one million substrates per month before the second quarter.
