Taiwan PCB suppliers Compeq Mfg Co. Ltd, Unitech Printed Circuit Board Corp. and Wus Printed Circuit Co. Ltd expect a sluggish performance in terms of shipment for handset-use PCBs this quarter.
Compeq forecasts a more than 22 percent decline in its shipments, from 31 million units last quarter to 24 million units this quarter. Likewise, Unitech sees a more than 17 percent decrease in shipments, with 17 million PCBs down to 14 million PCBs this quarter.
Wus Printed Circuit also expects a downturn of shipments, from 10.6 million units to 9 million units -- accounting for a 15 percent decrease.
Lower sales revenues last month maybe accounted for these lower expectations. Compeq, Unitech and Wus Printed Circuit have registered sales of NT$1.1 billion ($34 million at NT$31.83:$1), NT$520 million ($16 million) and NT$612 million ($19 million), respectively, last year.
