Toshiba Corp. continues to expand its use of SRS Labs Inc.'s technologies with the introduction of the satellite P35-S611 notebook, designed as a desktop replacement that delivers multimedia experience. The P35 series offers a cinema-quality listening experience through the use of TruSurround XT (TS XT) virtual surround sound technology.

Toshiba's PC group first licensed SRS technologies in early 2004, with this latest model joining other products within the Satellite series, as well as the full line of Toshiba's Qosmio line of AV notebooks.

"Our goal at Toshiba is to deliver an unparalleled visual and audio experience in all our products," said Taro Hiyama, VP of marketing, digital products division, Toshiba America Information Systems. "By forming a strategic partnership with SRS Labs, a recognized leader in audio quality, we can offer our customers premier virtual surround sound technology," Hiyama added.
