Yokogawa now offers a 16bit logic input capability on its DL7400 series of digital oscilloscopes, previously available only as an optional extra.
The new free-logic feature, with a maximum toggle frequency of 250MHz, lets a DL7400 measure and display eight 500MHz analog channels and the 16bit logic input simultaneously.
When combined with the instrument's 8-Mword per channel memory on all channels, with a 2GS/s sampling rate (interleave turned on), users get the ability to capture and display analog and logic inputs side-by-side for multi-channel mixed-signal analysis.
The DL7400 series also offers a choice of data analysis and search functions, including history search, cycle statistics, pulse count and serial pattern search. Users also get a variety of trigger capabilities and user-defined mathematics.
The instrument also includes PCMCIA card and USB interfaces, as well as SCSI and Ethernet options.
PC-based software is also available for remote control and data analysis, and the instrument can be configured as a Web server for file transfer, e-mail, data capture and trend analysis.
