International Mfg Services Inc. (IMS) has introduced a new S-band, 2.4GHz low-pass, surface-mount filter for RF and microwave applications, including wireless local area networks, microwave communication links, radar systems, and wireless sensors and controls.

This low profile, thickfilm filter features a pass-band up to 2,500MHz with a pass-band ripple of 0.01dB, and incorporates 5 sections with a 50? input and output. Second and third harmonic rejection is a minimum of 25dB, and the VSWR ratio is 1.1:1. The filter measures 1.12(L)-by-2.72(W)-by-2.57(thick)cm.

Pricing for the IMF2293 low-pass filter is $4.50 in quantities of 2,500. Delivery is approximately three to four weeks.
