Bustronic Corp. has launched its new EasyCable line of CompactPCI (cPCI) backplanes that are designed for easy cabling. These fully-compliant PICMG backplanes are available in 3U and 6U cPCI as well as 6U with H.110 Computer Telephony implementation versions.

Available in a wide range of sizes and configurations, the cPCI backplanes feature power nuts along the side of the backplane for 5V, 3.3V, V I/O and GND for easier cable assembly. Faston blades have been added for additional power. The 6U versions have an ATX connector for optional direct plugging.

All Bustronic cPCI backplanes incorporate a computer-simulated stripline design for high performance. With optimal power dispersion and distributed high- and low-frequency decoupling capacitors, the CompactPCI backplanes deliver virtually zero crosstalk.

Pricing for the EasyCable series starts at less $200 in volume quantities. Delivery is two to four weeks.
