RFI Industries announced the release of model AP32MT315, which is a 1,500W broadband RF power amplifier manufactured by Prana R&D of Brive, France.

The AP32MT series of amplifiers cover the frequency range of 80MHz to 1,000 MHz at nominal power levels ranging from 65W to 1,500W. These devices allow bulk current injection tests to be carried out without the need to change amplifiers or use band switching, explained RFI Industries.

The AP32MT315 delivers a minimum of 1,500W (typically 1,800W) to 600MHz, and 1,000W minimum from 600MHz to 1,000MHz (typically 1,100W to 1,800W depending on frequency). All figures are at 1dB compression.

Prana R&D manufactures a range of solid-state amplifiers covering the frequency range from 10kHz to 4.2GHz at power levels up to 50kW. According to the press release, their amplifiers are designed to deliver higher than rated power at lower frequencies for use with broadband antennas in susceptibility and immunity applications.
