Alliance Semiconductor, Nu Horizons sign Asian distribution agreement

Alliance Semiconductor and Nu Horizons Electronics Asia Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. have announced an Asia-Pacific distribution partnership agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nu Horizons will distribute Alliance's complete product portfolio of analog and mixed signal products, bus connectivity and networking ICs, and high performance and specialty SRAM to countries including Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

David Casey, VP of worldwide sales for Alliance, said, "Nu Horizons' 'Demand Creation' philosophy, strong technical sales and application engineering teams, along with the expanded Alliance Semiconductor product offerings, will allow us to provide customers with broad portfolio of proven and reliable solutions."

"Alliance's strong expertise in next-generation solutions provides a synergistic and complimentary addition to our existing product line that will enable us to provide complete connectivity and networking solutions for our customers, further extending our competitive presence within the Asian marketplace," added Vick Aggarwala, president of Nu Horizons Electronics Asia.
