LTX Corp. has been selected to participate in Taiwan's National Si-Soft Project, an initiative developed to evolve Taiwan's semiconductor industry from its current contract manufacturing base to a focus on innovative IC design.

To support the project, LTX is expanding and relocating its offices to the Si-Soft Building in Taiwan's Hsinchu Science Park. LTX's new facility will also support the growing regional demand for its Fusion test platform.

The National Si-Soft Project's goal is to evolve Taiwan's semiconductor industry from its current contract manufacturing base to a focus on innovative IC design. In its new location, LTX and the Fusion platform will provide the project with the test strategies and technologies needed to develop cutting-edge test equipment software, applications test programs and test platform integrations.

In addition to supporting the Si-Soft Project, the new LTX office will support customers throughout Taiwan and China. The office is equipped with various Fusion test system configurations, including the recently introduced Fusion EX configuration for digital consumer and baseband communications devices. Staffing includes applications engineers, along with customer service, sales and marketing personnel.
