Chipworks acquires new lab facilities
Chip and system reverse engineering and analysis firm Chipworks Inc. announced that it has invested in new lab facilities to cater to the increasing demand for its system analysis services.
According to Steve Adam, vice president of patent intelligence, more companies are demanding Chipworks' services particularly to support patent portfolios. "To meet this need, we've expanded our lab facilities and furnished this new lab with state-of the-art equipment," said Adam.
The company also employed a number of personnel in charge of system level expertise for its systems analysis services. Chipworks says it is aiming to protect the companies' software patents through systems analysis and at the same time maximize their IP's potential large-scale market revenue amid competitive markets.
"We direct our business based on what our customers tell us they need. Our new systems lab gives our engineers the tools to handle the ever-expanding workload," says Julia Elvidge, president.
