Digital amplifier board jams audiophile quality in a tiny package

Flying Mole Electronics Corp.'s latest digital amplifier board features a built-in power supply and super compact size. According to the press release, this mini-board is the first of its kind to mount an individual power supply to two 30W channels of audiophile quality soundall in about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

Features include a power supply that ensures continuous output of 50W (150W at peak), low noise, a compact power supply (full-resonance type), and very high efficiency (80 percent at rated output power).

Applications include large screen flat type TVs, compact active loudspeakers, electronic musical instruments, game machines, amusement park rides and karaoke machines.

Samples of the board are available for $150 each, with production scheduled this month (July 2005).
