Ronetix's PEEDI is a high-speed, low-cost JTAG emulator for ARM7 and ARM9 processor cores with EmbeddedICE. It features GNU tools, specifically a gcc compiler and GCB debugger; built-in flash memory programmer; hardware and software breakpoints; and target reset control and remote reset detection capability.
Touting a download speed of 400KBps, the PEEDI operates at clock rates from 5kHz to 33MHz and target voltages of 1.2V to 5V. The emulator has a built-in flash programmer that works with over 750 devices and can store up to nine images using an MMC/SC memory card controlled from the front panel. Also built in is a telnet server for both flash programming and debugging. In addition, PEEDI can route its RS-232 port as well as ARM's debugging communication channel to a TCP/IP port. It also automatically initializes the processor on power up, and its RS-232 port can initiate a processor reset.
The PEEDI JTAG emulator for ARM7 and ARM9 processor cores is already available and sells for around $1,920.
