New switcher from APS delivers dependable roadside service

The APS150RS-IND series of AC/DC switching supplies from Advanced Power Solutions is designed for environmentally demanding applications such as mobile radio base stations, roadside electronic cabinets, and other harsh environments. It's rated for operation over -40°C to 85°C (full-load operation up to 70°C).

These compact (5-by-3.2-by-1.5 inches) U-frame power supplies deliver 150W continuous output with single outputs ranging from 3.3Vdc to 48Vdc. They feature universal AC input with active power-factor-correction to comply with EN61000-3-2 (Class A). Built-in over-current, over-temperature and over-voltage protection circuits are standard. Status and control functions include remote on/off control, DC OK signals, and thermally controlled fan options. The supplies meet international safety standards (UL/cUL60950, EN60950), and bear the CE Mark (LVD).
