The Bangalore center will focus on new telecom switching technologies and products across CDMA and GSM/UMTS networks, apart from developing products for communications servers. The servers will speed time-to-market for equipment makers in the seamless mobility environment.
"This new center in Bangalore demonstrates the importance Motorola places on the Indian market. Our goal is to remain at the forefront of developing multimedia solutions that seamlessly combine voice, data and video," said Simon Leung, regional president, Motorola Asia Pacific.
The Taiwan center will improve cost efficiencies and streamline the delivery of Motorola connected home applications and solutions to customers.
