HVICs utilize BiCMOS junction isolation designPowerex' new high-voltage ICs (HVICs), utilizing the company's BiCMOS junction isolation design, provide level-shifting and floating logic circuits at both 600V and 1,200V for driving MOSFETs and igbts in motor drive, lighting ballast, power supply, and plasma display applications.

Offered in a variety of Pb-free industry standard surface mount packages (SOP-8, -16, -24), the M817xxFP and M81019FP devices are available in half-bridge, 3-phase and floating high-side configurations with an output current up to 2A. These HVICs also feature a double buried layer and the company's so-called multiple floating field plate (MFFP) to provide high reliability and immunity to latch-up.

Integrated shoot-through interlock, logic-level input buffer and shut-down circuits are also incorporated into the design.

Access the datasheet for the M81709FP (half-bridge, 600V, 2A) at the company's Website. Sample quantities are available from stock to 8 weeks at $1 to $4, depending upon device.
