Switch offers 2dB insertion lossHittite Microwave Corp. has introduced the first wideband GaAs MMIC switch within the company's Connectorized Module Product Line. The HMC-C011 Non-Reflective SPDT switch module is ideal for military EW/ECM, space, wideband telecom, industrial, microwave radio and test equipment applications from DC to 20GHz.

The HMC-C011 is a rugged DC to 20GHz, non-reflective SPDT switch in a connectorized hermetic housing with field-replaceable SMA connectors. This high performance switch offers 2dB insertion loss, 35dB to 65dB isolation and 23dBm input power at 1dB compression. An integrated high speed CMOS driver enables extremely fast 1.3ns rise and fall times with low video transients of 10mV. The HMC-C011 operates from a single 5Vdc supply and consumes only 1.4mA of bias current.

Samples are available from stock and can be ordered online.
