Supply-chain management software company E2open Inc. has said it has sold software to Etron Technology Inc., a vendor of DRAM and SRAM products.

Etron (Taipei, Taiwan) is using E2open (Redwood City, California) to integrate itself as a supplier to large corporations using RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes.

"E2open provides a first class solution that fits the needs of a first class fabless IC company like Etron. E2open helped us achieve rapid and cost-effective integrated services for our global customers, many of whom have already been working closely with E2open," said Nicky Lu, president and chief executive officer of Etron Technology.

Etron initially deployed E2open to support the exchange of key RosettaNet PIPS around inter-company forecast, purchase order, inventory and shipping and receiving processes, among others.

Etron is presently expanding the deployment with E2open to create a sell-side hub capable of integrating multiple customers around the globe.

Etron did not say how much its software costs.
